Lightsview only became a suburb in April 2016, carved from parts of Northgate, Greenacres and Northfield. It is the block bounded by Hampstead Road, Redward Avenue, Fosters Road and Folland Avenue, about eight kilometres north of the city and under three kilometres from our office.
Most of it is the Lightsview development, a partnership between CIC Australia and the state’s Renewal SA that began in 2006 and was extended in 2013 onto the old Ross Smith Secondary School site, so most homes here are less than twenty years old. It is one of the busiest house markets around us.
